Apostle Dr. Donald E. Cleveland, Sr. is a founding member and Senior Pastor of Breaking of Day Family Church International in Hutchins, Texas. His straightforward, evangelistic ministry reaches out to the unsaved and unconverted souls with a message of love and hope. His passion and love fuel him to teach and mentor chosen vessels about the Kingdom of God and their divine, God-ordained purpose. Dr. Cleveland has been in the ministry for 41 years. During this time, he has experienced success on multiple levels.
In October 2018, he received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree. He was ordained and consecrated as an Apostle in San Francisco, California by Apostle Michael Calloway, Jr. He also serves as Chief Apostle and Overseer for Hannah’s Sons and Daughters International Intercessory Prayer Ministry in Hutchins, Texas, where the Founder and CEO is his wife, Prophetess Dr. Frances Cleveland. Since the inception of his ministerial call, he has served in a host of multi-leveled executive positions, including Director, President, Assistant Pastor, and Overseer, while serving and supporting the ministries of the late Superintendent Edward Calloway and Bishop T.D. Jakes. He has orchestrated and spearheaded many crusades, shut-ins, and outreach ministries. He is the Founder and CEO of “Thus Saith The Lord Evangelistic Ministries,” and sits on the governing board of Jabez Ministries of Dallas, Texas. Furthermore, he walks with an apostolic anointing and embodies all the gifts of the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11). He is also a Visionary who seeks out a variety of innovative ways to evangelize God’s message of reconciliation.
Dr. Donald Cleveland’s ecclesiastical credentials include Apostle, Pastor, Evangelist, Teacher, Mentor, Conference and Seminar Speaker, Counselor, Outreach Minister, Revivalist, and Co-Author. He and Prophetess Cleveland joined other collaborators and contributors in a joint authorship venture to assist in writing the book, “Empowering your City: Releasing the Apostolic and Prophetic Destiny of a City.”
They also serve as mentors for many sons and daughters in the gospel. Many affectionately call them “Mom and Dad Cleveland”. Dr. Cleveland has been married to Prophetess Dr. Frances Cleveland for 46 years. They are the co-founders and serve as Pastor and Co-Pastor of Breaking Of Day Family Church International. They are the parents of three, grandparents of nine, and great-grandparents of one.
